Fifth round of European LeMans Series (ELMS) took place on the historical Spa-Francorchamps track in Belgium and our team has snatched the PRO/AM win thanks to Will Stevens' spectacular attack on the finish line on the last lap.

Our team qualified to start the race from the fifth row of the grid, with a time lap of 2.04.282, made by Charlie Eastwood in the qualifying session on Saturday.

Sunday 41 cars started race with 12C air temperature and 14C track temperature, there were also wet areas on the track remained on the track until the end of the first stint due to the rain that lasted from the previous evening until the morning of the race.

This also caused tricky conditions, especially the tire choices at the beginning of the race.

Our national athlete Salih Yoluc started the race and drove cleanly under these conditions. Afterwards, Salih completed the first stint with 29 laps due to the 10-second pit waiting penalty due to contact with another vehicle at the first pitstop and the yellow flags during the session.

Charlie Eastwood got behind the wheel for the second stint and made 29 laps due to the full course yellow flags in the session and handled car to William Stevens for the last stint.

In the last session of the race the track temperature reached 19.4C, William Stevens continued at a very strong pace until the last moment of the race, he pitted during FCY due to a slow puncture in his right rear tire and made the last tire change and refueling.

Our team was the second in PRO/AM classification until the last straight of the last lap, with the magnificent attack of Will Stevens on AF CORSE car we clinched the category win almost a few meters away from the finish line and a margin of 0.042 seconds.

Racing Team Turkey will go to last race of ELMS Series, 4H Portimao as the category leader with 105 points.
