RACING TEAM TURKEY CLOSES 2026 FIA WEC SEASON FOURTH IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP
RACING TEAM TURKEY TOOK ITS TITLE CHALLENGE ALL THE WAY TO THE FINAL ROUND AND FINISHED THE 2026 FIA WORLD ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP FOURTH IN LMGT3, MAKING HISTORY AS THE FIRST TURKISH TEAM TO RACE AND WIN IN THE SERIES.
Racing Team Turkey kept its title challenge alive until the final round of a fiercely contested 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship, the 6 Hours of Monza, and finished the season fourth in the LMGT3 class. Racing the #34 Corvette Z06 GT3.R with Salih Yoluç, Charlie Eastwood and Peter Dempsey, the team made history as the first Turkish team to race and win in the series.

The campaign began with a difficult retirement at Imola. After P9 at Spa and a lead-lap P6 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the team claimed its maiden FIA WEC victory at the 6 Hours of São Paulo, winning the LMGT3 class at Interlagos.
In the second half of the season, P14 at the Lone Star Le Mans was followed by another podium with third place at the 6 Hours of Fuji. Fourth at the inaugural 6 Hours of Barcelona, just 0.256 seconds off the podium, carried the title fight to the final round. At the Monza finale, an unfortunate race saw the #34 take the chequered flag in eleventh.
"In an extremely competitive WEC season, we kept our championship challenge alive until the very last race. After the setbacks we faced at the start of the season and in the final race, we finished the FIA World Endurance Championship in fourth place. Along the way, we had the pride of making history as the first Turkish team to race and win in the series.
Although we could not end a season we started with the goal of winning the championship with the result we wanted, we showed once again that we can compete at the highest level with the leading brands and teams in motorsport.
We thank all of our supporters who stood by us throughout the season, our colleagues at TF Sport, and our drivers Salih, Charlie and Peter for their hard work and dedication.
We also sincerely congratulate the drivers and the entire crew of our sister car, #33 TF Sport, on winning the WEC championship."
