Racing Team Turkey, which continues its season as the category leader after three races in the European LeMans Series (ELMS), one of the most prestigious series of motor sports this year, has participated in the two-day test program that took place at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve track in Portimao, Portugal last weekend with Ayhancan Güven as the guest.

Porsche factory team driver Ayhancan Güven, who had a successful season mainly in ADAC GT Masters in the 2022 season, also the first Turkish driver title to compete in the DTM with AlphaTauri AF Corse this year.

Our team has started the test program in the afternoon due to the ground conditions of the track, where the air temperature was 28 degrees Celsius on the first day, at the end of the second day we successfully completed the two-day program by testing different scenarios.

The next race of Racing Team Turkey, which maintains its leadership in the classification with 68 points in ELMS, will take place on August 28 at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Barcelona, ​​Spain.

Ayhancan Güven:
It was a good opportunity for me to be able to test for two days at the Portimao circuit with a prototype vehicle.
After the introduction tours on the first day, I had the opportunity to push the limits of the vehicle by driving longer on the second day. We left behind two very productive and positive days.
